Other High School's newspapers

  1. What is your favorite newspaper front page? Why? The Summers guide. The colors are so sweet and Summery…it makes me want to head down to the beach and eat one of these popsicles! It has a very happy vibe.
  2. Which paper immediately grabbed your interest? Why? The Native newspaper caught my eye right away! It is a cool crazy pattern that none of the other newspapers have, and also the picture is of my favorite thing in the world: cookies!!!! It looks really interesting!
  3. What is your favorite headline from that newspaper? Why are you interested in it? Plants Vs. People. I think it's a funny headline, comparing plant to people! It grabs my attention and confuses me a little s well.
  4. How many stories are on the front page of your favorite? None!
  5. What do you notice that all newspaper front pages have in common? Look at design, size of photos, size of story text, etc. All of the newspapers have big sections on the student body and their achievements and their opinions on things. Also all the newspapers have a continuous theme.
  6. What are things that vary (or are different) on the front pages of different newspapers? Look at design, size of photos, size of headlines, etc. Some newspapers have more or less text and quotes from people than others, also some newspapers have big and huge pictures that grab your attention or fun colors splashed on the pages.
  7. Were these similar to what you saw last class when you looked at daily newspapers from around the world? They looked pretty similar, but I liked the high school one's better.
